Dr. Lloyd Mason - A native of Hazlehurst, Georgia, began practicing Optometry in 1995. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Brewton-Parker College in 1991, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1995. He completed an internship at a specialty contact lens practice in Germantown, TN, and an internship in ocular disease at OMNI Eye Services in Atlanta, GA. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Georgia Optometric Association, having served as president of the Southern District of Optometrists. He has also served as a GOA Legislative keyperson. His civic activities include serving as a director of the Hazlehurst Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as Chairman of the Hospital Authority, and has been involved with the local Rotary club. He and his family are members of Southside Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. He is married to Lisa Mason who teaches in the Jeff Davis County School System, and they have 3 children, Brittany, Hannah, and Alex. They are also proud grandparents of their newest grandson, Mason. When not working with patients he enjoys, spending time with his family and doing anything that involves being outside.

Dr. Kyle Varnadoe - A native of Hazlehurst, Georgia, graduated from Valdosta State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to attend the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Varnadoe completed his internships at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Dublin Eye Associates, and Southern EyeCare, P.C.. While interning, he specialized in primary eye care, ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, pediatric eye care, vision training and the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Georgia Optometric Association and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Varnadoe is married to Kellie Wood Varnadoe of Hazlehurst and they have a baby girl, Charlee Kate. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.

Helen Sellers - Joined our practice in 2002. She performs preliminary and specialized testing for patients, frame selection, contact lens fittings, and patient referral appointments. Helen is married to Herman Sellers and has two children, Shaila and Bowen, a stepson, Justin, and 3 granddaughters, Bailey, Jackie, and Blair. She is an active member at Hazlehurst Church of God. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Courtney Dawson - You’ll probably remember this name because Courtney does everything!! Her main role is bookkeeping, checking patients out, keeping labs straight, keeping our doctors straight and credentials up to date, keeping our office supplies stocked, and also our patient happiness guarantor, and so much more. You’d think she’d be tired at the end of the day, but with a little boy at home, he makes sure she really is!

Cindy Edmonson - When you walk into our office, you'll be greeted by our friendly, bilingual receptionist, Cindy. She takes care of scheduling patients, doing prior authorizations, and is also a back-up technician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling to different islands and learning about different cultures.

Cindy Brown - At some point in every person's life, you will need an assisted medical device- whether it's a knee or hip replacement as you age, or in our office, your glasses and/or contacts. Fortunately, good things come in small packages, like our contact lens optician Cindy! She can assist you with any of your contact lens needs from spherical to multi-focal, colored, and scleral lens. She also makes sure all office billing accounts are paid! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her yearly vacations to Lake Oconee.

Nicole Taylor - Insurance has a language all its own, but thanks to our insurance “guru” Nicole, she makes it easy to understand. She’ll gladly help you with any questions regarding your coverage, and does so with a smile and patience. When she is not at work, you’ll find her cheering on her children at their ball games.

Katie Yeomans​​​​​​​​​​​​​- Let's face it, eye exams aren't the most exciting things and finding the perfect pair of glasses can be a tedious task. But, having someone so delightful and sweet-natured as Katie, can make your experience at our office pleasurable. Katie also assists with preliminary and specialized testing for patients and contact lens fitting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Daniel and her family. She loves being on the farm and traveling.
